2021 Big Sur Red
Tasting notes
2021 Big Sur Red
SF Chronicle Wine Competition - Double Gold 2014 Vintage Lush ripe fruit and a satinny tannin structure give our Big Sur Red an opulent mouthfeel. Plum, red current and blueberry merge with a subtle minerality in the wine along with kirsch, springtime floral notes and a hint of mocha. The blend of Syrah and Petite Sirah has a sedctuctive, inviting color and smooth layers. Pair with spicy grilled BBQ, flank steak, Turkish lamb and other grilled meats, mushroom dishes, blue cheeses and of course, dark chocolate! This Rhone-inspired blend is an exciting wine that should drink well for many years while being easy to enjoy now.
